Alexandre Stachtchenko is Blockchain & Cryptos Director at KPMG France, an entrepreneur, an author and a keynote speaker specialised in developing strategies related to blockchain technologies and crypto currencies. Alexandre started his career as an assistant manager at Azzana Consulting before joining EY as a financial auditor. Since 2015, he has been the co-founder and CEO of Blockchain Partner, a leading blockchain technology consulting firm. He has trained many large companies and public organisations to take up the challenges behind the blockchain technologies and crypto assets. He now advises business leaders and executives on their strategy development integrating these technologies. Alexandre Stachtchenko has participated in many conferences and training, advising at strategic levels such as boards (Societe Generale, Scor, Atos, etc.) and executive committees (e.g. Purchasing Department of Veolia Group). He is a sought-after speaker, acclaimed for his teaching work on technical and legal challenges induced by the blockchain technology. Alexandre delivered several presentations for TedX talks and has been commissioned by the French National Assembly to take part in a public debate about blockchain. He addresses the two following topics: “Understanding blockchain & crypto-assets” and “Cryptocurrencies: The Internet of Value”. He has been a major actor in the evolution of legislation and regulation in France and in Europe through his working groups (France Strategie, Global Competitiveness Pole, Finance Innovation, Ministry of Transport, etc.) and more specific missions (European Commission, National Assembly on Virtual Currencies & Blockchain, etc.). Alexandre Stachtchenko is the co-author of Decrypting Blockchain (La Blockchain Décryptée) and he regularly speaks in the French and foreign media (CoinDesk, Challenges, Canal Plus, France Inter…). Highly involved in the development of blockchain and crypto assets in France, he is the founder and chairman of ChainTech, the association of the French-speaking actors in blockchain. Alexandre Stachtchenko graduated with a master’s degree in Management from ESCP Europe (Paris).
