Current options are limited to commercial products which are often low-returning, illiquid, and high in fees. Value-add and opportunistic real estate projects are almost entirely executed by private capital and thus the average investor is not able to participate in these types of deals, which are higher returning in nature. Astrix will allow for investors to receive unprecedented access to private real estate investments via a low-fee, transparent, and highly liquid platform. Our platform will also give private real estate operators and developers a new, more efficient method of sourcing capital for their projects. We are a technology company at heart, providing a solution for the real estate industry which has lacked innovation over the years. The Astrix co-founders have backgrounds in real estate private equity and software development, forming the perfect mix to tackle the long-standing deficiencies in non-institutional real estate investing.
