As an established executive, Applegate has more than a decade of experience helping companies achieve their organizational goals and key objectives. He has consulted, advised, and worked closely with leading companies in gaming, entertainment, retail, and digital spaces and is the former COO and Owner of Mineplex, one of the world’s largest Minecraft gaming servers and an official Minecraft partner. Additionally Applegate has produced film, documentary, and commercial productions. His first film was acquired and distributed by Sony Pictures and directed by Kevin Connolly and starred Jessica Alba, Luke Wilson, Josh Lucas, Liana Liberato, Isabelle Fuhrman, Joel Courtney, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. Applegate's latest film, ALL THOSE SMALL THINGS, premiered in April, 2021 as the official selection in the Seattle International Film Festival and was directed by award-winning writer and director Andrew Hyatt (Paul; Apostle of Christ), and starred James Faulkner (Game of Thrones). Applegate and Hyatt also released IRREPLACEABLE, a docu-series that chronicled the rise in depression and teen suicide by focusing on personal stories within a school district that had one of the highest teen attempted suicide rates in the country.
