Calm Ventures is a Los Angeles based venture capital and growth equity firm focused on emerging brands and technologies. Calm Ventures is led by Zachary Ginsburg. Zach has been investing in and advising technology, media and consumer companies for the last eight years. Most recently, he was an investor at OCV Partners, a $260M LA based growth equity fund. Zach has invested in 100+ startups including Lambda School, Coinbase, Standard Cognition, Superhuman, Headspace, Airbnb, Log DNA and Substack. While Calm's mandate is broad and opportunistic, we tend to focus on companies that help people do better, feel better and bring the planet forward. Calm operates via a private syndicate on AngelList and has over 1500 LPs.
