Caroline Moon is Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, on Corporate Development team leading the Financial Operations practice, which focuses on helping portfolio companies’ founder/CEOs and CFOs/heads of finance with strategic advice and finance best practices, spanning all stages (seed, early, and growth) and across sectors (consumer, enterprise, fintech, bio, and crypto). Prior to joining Andreessen Horowitz, hands-on CFO for early- to growth-stage, venture-backed companies with expertise in online marketplaces (B2B, B2C, and C2C), enterprise software as a service (SaaS), D2C e-commerce, and online advertising / ad tech. Operating and M&A experience in North America, Europe, and Latin America. Extensive experience in fundraising, with $100M+ raised in equity and debt capital. Areas of responsibility have included Analytics, Data Science, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Corporate Development, Payments, Trust & Safety (anti fraud), Customer Support, Legal, Stock Administration, and Human Resources. Experience includes international expansion, supply-chain management, mergers & acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and finance/accounting transformation.
