Who you could interact with is controlled by mystery algorithms more than you realize. What decides what content you see on your Instagram feed? A mystery advertisement algorithm. What decides which credit card you get approved for? A mystery credit scoring algorithm. What decides who you get to swipe left or right on within Tinder? A mystery compatibility matching algorithm. What if we got to decide for ourselves who we wish to trust? What if algorithms were transparent? Through Charisma, together we will explore: 1. What is a reputation? A reputation has three foundational components: human interpretation, information input and methodology. 2. Developing a process for the community creation of algorithms. 3. Creating value by using reputation as a primitive. We are only limited by our imagination. 4. Bringing transparency to algorithms and create a world where people can BYOAlgo. 5.
