Charlie Rice's logo

Charlie Rice spent ten years in financial communications as a reporter, editor, and speechwriter before he saw the writing on the wall: computer-generated news stories. What started as a survival adaptation has evolved into deep interest in computational analysis and modeling. He now teaches data science for General Assembly in Seattle. In his free time he enjoys walking in the rain, petting friendly dogs, and exploring used bookstores. Steadfastly analog in a digital world, he only acquired a smartphone in 2015 because his friends demanded it.
