The exchange is designed to function as a public utility, owned and controlled by the community of token holders. Modular, extensible smart contracts enable continuous upgrades and additions to the protocol. These contracts are open source, developer friendly, and built to leverage the performance and security of Substrate.

dTrade will launch an insurance fund and offer perpetual swap trading in Q2 2021, both with early participation rewards. Traders will benefit from a seamless trading experience, familiar to that of centralized exchanges, no gas fees and low trading fees. The protocol for trading options will go live later in the year. The number of features and assets on dTrade will grow over time. Soon, we will be able to rapidly launch new trading pairs and allow traders to gain the exposure they want, whenever they want. Sencha is a new decentralized exchange (DEX) built on top of the Solana blockchain. Sencha’s mission is to be the go-to place for discovering and trading new crypto assets. The interface was designed to be intuitive for veteran DeFi traders and first-time crypto users alike.

While Sencha appears to be a standard constant product AMM, the goal is to innovate upon the long-standing AMM norms. For example, all existing Solana AMMs use SOL and USDC as their main base pairs. We instead plan to use staking derivatives that provide more value to liquidity providers, and in the case of staked SOL actually help to decentralize the Solana network.

Onomy is a decentralized protocol built to enhance the foreign currency exchange marketplace. This is accomplished through the issuance of virtual denominations of traditional currencies, known as stable coins, from the Onomy Reserves (ORES). All issued denominations are collateralized by the Onomy Protocol Token (NOM) which when locked in the contract enables the issuance of the currency denominations (Denoms). The Onomy Exchange (ONEX) facilitates high-speed transactions between Denoms and NOM while providing secure price discovery for collateral ratios and automated management of ORES accounts. The Onomy Network (ONET) is built using a Proof-of-Stake implementation of an innovative concurrent byzantine consensus mechanism that utilizes rank aggregation to order all transactions fairly without byzantine leaders’ interference. NOM token holders are incentivized to stake and delegate to validators to secure and govern ONET through rewards earned in NOM. NOM that is not staked or delegated to validators may be used to mint Denoms through ORES. The value of NOM is derived from the right to participate in the network governance and mint Denoms.

SushiSwap, An evolution of Uniswap with SUSHI tokenomics. Operate by Chef Nomi, Master of Omakase.

SushiSwap is a fork of Uniswap with a native governance token ($SUSHI) and a change in the reward distribution mechanism. With Uniswap, LPs earn 0.3% of trading fees whereas on Sushiswap, LPs will earn 0.25% fees, with the remaining 0.05% being distributed to SUSHI holders.

The objective is to incentivize early liquidity providers with added incentive for bootstrapping the pools. In Uniswap, LPs earn fees so long as liquidity is provided. Sushiswap aims to add a more passive form of income with early LPs benefitting from the future traction of the protocol through SUSHI and the 0.05% fee.

In typical DeFi degen style, SushiSwap founder Chef Nomi made a call to arms for auditors to conduct a smart contract audit after the protocol reached $150M in TVL within the first 5 hours of launch. Quantstamp has since taken responsibility to audit the contracts alongside a 48 hour time lock on the governance contract to prevent any malicious activity from the founder. A rewards distribution of 10% has been set aside for the team for audits & operational expenses, an allocation which can reportedly be adjusted through governance.
