Eric Diep

Eric Diep is a Canadian game designer, software engineer, and co-founder of A Thinking Ape Entertainment (acq. Embracer Group, backed by Bill Lee, Naval Ravikant, Jim Young), creator of Pineapple Games, exec producer of Code 8 (#1 movie on Netflix USA in April 2020), and angel investor in over a dozen companies in technology and consumer media. Eric is co-author of US Patent 8918725 for systems and methods to support real-time chat on mobile devices. Eric studied math at University of Waterloo before dropping out for Y Combinator in 2007. He currently resides in the Pacific Northwest.
