Agoric is committed to making strong security easier to achieve. Creating secure smart contracts using today’s technology is inherently difficult. That difficulty has limited both the number of applications created, and the number of programmers qualified to create them. We are developing an open, JavaScript-based, object-capability (ocap) programming layer to address both issues. The Agoric ocap layer will include robust security properties beyond anything available today, and it will provide that security across substrates, from local machines to global blockchains.

Keoken is a second Layer solution that involves a digital accounting asset and secure smart contracts platform. Focused on real world use cases, approaching them in an efficient and simple way, it intends to cover most of the situations that involve transfers of value between parties and the business rules required to run most common activities. Keoken is an open source protocol with a performance reference implementation. It is designed to evolve and adapt over time following market trends and user requirements using a multi-layer dynamic governance system.

Edgeware is a fairly-launched, actively-governed smart contract platform.

It integrates advanced features like proof-of-stake validation, WebAssembly smart contracts, and an interface for on-chain identity and governance.

By distributing balances to other cryptocurrency holders who timelock their tokens, Edgeware secures an early community of stakeholders incentivized to participate in the network’s governance.

Using a community-governed block reward and on-chain governance processes, stakeholders vote on upgrade proposals. This governance process is used to fund, manage, and deploy improvements to the network, creating a self-improving system that coordinates and supports its own development.

Straightedge is a zero-day fork of the Edgeware blockchain built by Commonwealth Labs.

We believe in the vision of Edgeware but believe that the initial distribution design of EDGE tokens contains edge cases that decrease the legitimacy of the entire project.

We are planning to launch Straightedge on the 15th of September, concurrently with the launch of Edgeware, as a zero-day fork, with the same feature set, improved distribution designs, and more.

Wormhole protocol, BCH smart contract. We have been trying to explore different ways to implement smart contracts on Bitcoin Cash without changing the consensus rules. After tremendous research effort, we have discovered a protocol which can issue tokens through the OP_RETURN opcode: the Omni Layer (https://www.omnilayer.org/). Based on the Omni Layer protocol, Wormhole Cash makes it possible to issue tokens on BCH.

All tasks are triggered by a network of croncat agents. Your task parameters are sandboxed away from any tampering.

Tasks pay a small fee for future timing. This rewards agents for staying diligent and doing transactions on your behalf.
