Jon Kol is Co-founder at Hyperlane, building the interchain highway. Previously of Morgan Stanley, Passport Capital and Galaxy Digital. He has been a passionate crypto investor for years and he started Hyperlane with Asa Oines to solve the problem of blockchain interoperability. Aside from being a crypto enthusiast in the general sense, he is particularly interested in the intersection of crypto-assets and financial systems, innovative incentive design and choice architecture, as well as novel business models or modes of monetization. Jon earned his bachelor’s in Economics from UC Berkeley, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
