Katherine Wu is Venture Partner at Archetype. Formerly, Principal at Notation Capital. I was Business Development and Community Management for Messari, a NYC-based crypto startup aimed at promoting transparency and smarter decision-making in the token ecosystem through information gathering. Prior to Messari, I've done stints at the Bank of China, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bank of America, Oak Hill Advisors, and the U.S. State Department. I hold a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.A. in International Relations (combo of economics + history + political science + language) from Johns Hopkins University. I grew up moving between California, mainland China (Kunming, Yunnan Province), and Hong Kong. I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
