Kenny Foner

Kenny Foner is a core engineer at Penumbra Labs. Previously, they were a senior software engineer at Bolt Labs leading the implementation of private layer-2 payment channels, and a research engineer at Galois working on the Cryptol formal verification ecosystem and the ElectionGuard encrypted verifiable voting system. They hold a Masters of Science in programming language theory from the University of Pennsylvania. Their mildly viral talks about mental health in graduate school have reached a global audience of thousands, both in and beyond computer science academia.
