Expect chaos. No promise.
Kusama staking will be very similar to Polkadot’s at genesis. Polkadot uses NPoS (Nominated Proof-of-Stake) as its mechanism for selecting the validator set. It is designed with the roles of *validators* and *nominators*. The plan is to start with somewhere between 50 to 100 open validator positions and open more gradually.
