Mike Giampapa

Mike Giampapa is a vice president in Bessemer’s New York office and is primarily focused on fintech and crypto investing. Previously, he was an investor at Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), where he was actively involved in the firm’s investments in Coinbase, Compass, Giphy, IEX, Masterclass, MuleSoft, and Rubrik. He also worked in business development at Circle, a crypto-focused financial technology company. Mike started his career in the technology investment banking and asset management groups at J.P. Morgan. Mike holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he served as co-president of the Blockchain & Crypto Club, and graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University, where he was a member of the varsity football team.
