Dominic Williams is Chief Scientist of the DFINITY project, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, and is President and CTO of String Labs, a Palo Alto-based studio, incubator, and investor focused on advanced open protocol projects. His recent technical works include DFINITY technologies such as the Threshold Relay/Probabilistic Slot Protocol blockchain consensus mechanisms, the Blockchain Nervous System (algorithmic governance for decentralized networks), and the PHI “crypto fiat” autonomous loan issuance system.

Dominic is a crypto theoretician and entrepreneur. His recent research includes Threshold Relay and PSC chains, Validation Towers and Trees, and USCIDs, and he proposes new ideas such as "The 3 E's of Sybil Resistance". Previously he ran a venture-backed MMO game using his own distributed systems that hosted millions of users.

Peter is an independent applied cryptography consultant - what the cool kids call "blockchain tech" - known for his research and educational work on better understanding and making use of "blockchain" technology, with a particular focus on scalability. He's also a long time contribution to Bitcoin Core, as well as maintainer of the python-bitcoinlib and OpenTimestamps projects. He brings to this field a very diverse background, including a fine arts degree, and a stint doing analog electronics design for a geophysics startup.

I graduated from Columbia in 2016, where I studied economics and math. After a close call with an econ PhD I became fascinated with cryptocurrencies, and have since gone fully down the rabbit hole. Right now I'm a Senior Engineer at Uniswap, a decentralized exchange built on Ethereum.

I have a B.A. in Economics-Mathematics from Columbia University. After graduating I spent nearly two years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York working as a Senior Research Analyst in the Money and Payments Studies division. My long-standing interest in cryptocurrencies eventually led me to an engineering role at Hydrogen, where I wrote security grade smart contracts, co-authored ERC-1484 (a digital identity protocol), and developed open-source blockchain tooling. I'm now a Senior Engineer at Uniswap, a decentralized exchange protocol for trading Ethereum-based assets.
