Nicholas Ward is Cryptography Engineer at Polygon Technology, working on the math behind the next generation of blockchain scaling solutions. My graduate research focused on designing new succinct argument protocols (better known as zkSNARKs, or zero-knowledge proofs); creating efficient and usable implementations in code; and exploring their applications to blockchain and other areas I love Jesus, and I like running, cooking, baking, reading, meme-making, and messing around ineffectively with a soccer ball or on a piano.
