Pulsquares, Experimental generative NFT art project! Gallery & Burn-to-Compose mechanisms. Deflationary. Pulsquares have just one primitive: a pulsing square. This simple element was polished and animated to excellence. It has no meaning by itself, however, when combined, these naive pulsing squares create beautiful and unexpected patterns. Welcome to the Pulsquares experience. Math is beautiful. The combination of a single primitive with simple math formulas can create gracious, grandiose or chaotic living patterns. It's emergence! The rate and initial state of the squares are defined by handcrafted naive math equations. Discover the patterns hidden behind these beautiful formulas. Most of the attributes of the Pulsquares are recorded onchain, as a hash. This decreases the art piece dependencies and allows composability. Future projects can(and will!) interact with this hash to create unique experiences and mints based on a Pulsquare token unique hash or specific attribute. Randomness plays a very importante role in Pulsquares. It defines several traits of each art piece, from the equation used to the size, color, uniformity, and initial state of each piece. There are infinite possibilites. As a generative art, in the moment you mint each art piece is created from this randomness. One of the problems of collectibles and digital art sets is when value perceived doesn't match the piece rarity. A specific piece may be meaningful and valuable to you, but its market value usually just follows another curve, defined by the rarity system created by the artist. It's frustrating. Pulsquares does have a rarity system by design, but there are additional experimental mechanisms for the owner to also play a role in the rarity of his/her specific piece. A Pulsquares art pierce can be upgraded. It will gain an unique trait (called Constellation) that no Pulsquares are granted by default. However, this will have a cost, and the cost is the burn of another piece. It's called burn-to-compose. Figuratively, the burnt piece is incorporated by the receiver piece. So it will live inside it. Therefore, the receiver piece will now have a little frame, where the burnt pieces orbit. This upgrade won't change the original piece, just the frame around it. You can stack up to 100 burnt pieces in your Constellation.
