Rahul Sood is CEO & Co-Founder at Irreverent Labs, Investor at ZED RUN. Formerly, Co-Founder and CEO at Unikrn, General Manager at Microsoft Start-ups group. His team operated start-up accelerators and outreach in Seattle, China, India, and Israel, while running the Bing Fund, an angel investment fund based in Seattle. Rahul Sood joined Microsoft in 2011 and created Bing Fund in 2012. In 2013, Microsoft consolidated their globalstart-up activities under his leadership. As a serial entrepreneur, Rahul Sood spent 18 years in multiple start-ups prior to joining Microsoft. He founded the gaming computer manufacturer VoodooPC, which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard, in 2006. Voodoo brought the ENVY product line to HP, contributing advanced technologies such as commercial liquid cooling and an increased focus on design. Rahul Sood is a co-founder of BrightSquid Medical, a unique collaboration platform for medical professionals, which was subsequently acquired by NetworksMD. He co-founded BrightSquid Dental, which was spun out of the medical business in 2010. He also created BullsOnWallstreet, a trading and education platform for retail investors and traders, and he is an active angel investor in a number of small Canadian-based energy companies. Rahul Sood is active in the entrepreneurial community, helping and mentoring a variety of start-ups. In his spare time Rahul Sood enjoys wake surfing and wake boarding, paddle boarding, cycling, racing cars, and spending time with his family. He is a native of Calgary, Alberta.
