Vanessa Slavich

Vanessa Slavich is Partner at cLabs. Designing experiences, shaping Celo. I am passionate about research to understand needs and co-creating solutions that allow more equity in systems and society. In my current role, I lead the Experience Team, focused on awakening the Celo movement in every individual through a combination of user research, design, brand, storytelling, events, community, communications, and culture. To date, 39 team members have collected 105 insights through 202 1:1 interviews in 18 cities across 7 countries—all of which helps us build with our users, not for them. I received my Masters in Interaction Design with a focus on social impact and, prior to Celo, worked with the United Nations OCHA’s Centre for Humanitarian Data and the Kapor Center for Social Impact. Earlier in my career, I worked at Apple and Square, recruiting the early iOS team at Apple and helping Square scale from 70 to 2,000 employees. I'm applying all of the lessons learned around inclusion and belonging to the culture, community, and products we're building at Celo.
