Bailey Reutzel is Freelance Multimedia Journalist, do a little bit of everything content creation - text, audio, video, social, performance. I've focused most of my attention on cryptocurrency and blockchain, having gotten into that industry in 2012, but am well-versed in broader finance, tech and politics. I'm a paid comedian! A great emcee, speaker and moderator, and have no problem learning a new skill. She was US Editor/Tech Editor/Multimedia Content Editor at CoinDesk. Manages a group of reporters - both brand new and seasoned - as they cover the strange and tumultuous world of cryptocurrency and blockchain. From the startups in the space to the underlying technology to the regulatory environment, CoinDesk covers all that and everything in between. Coming in as the sixth person on the editorial team, CoinDesk has quickly grown and shifted. On top of usual editor roles, I led the Bitcoin At 10 multimedia time capsule covering more than 80 pieces of content that focused on untold stories from bitcoin's last decade. As the manager of the new multimedia department, I worked closely with the video team to create best practices for video/audio workflow and produced and shot a whole array of videos in an effort to figure out what the crypto industry wants from their multimedia content.
