BIL emerged from an energetic group of people with aspirations to change the world. BIL is an open, self-organizing, egalitarian, emergent arts, science, society, and technology un-conference. In true un-conference style, attendees are responsible for shaping the conference through their participation. Its speakers are among its diverse national and international community. Attendees range from technologists, scientists, artists, hackers and those with a passion for sharing ideas.
