OCamlPro was created in April 2011 by former members of the French INRIA Institute. OCamlPro initial goal was to boost the development of OCaml and to promote it as the language of choice for software development in the Industry. OCamlPro is an official member of the Caml Consortium, and includes members of the OCaml core development team. OCamlPro also develops tools in OCaml to improve the code quality of programs written in other languages such as C.

We believe trillions of dollars worth of assets will be digitized using tokenized securities. When we started SPiCE in 2017, tokenized securities were just a distant idea. To prove it can be done, we started by tokenizing ourselves. Since security tokens didn’t yet exist, we had to invent much of the legal and regulatory structure used by the industry today, and build the first generation of the technology ourselves. This gave us tremendous first-hand experience but also opened our eyes to the huge potential of tokenizing ownership, to the point that we have decided to direct much of our investment efforts to this exciting space.

Today, SPiCE is widely regarded as pioneers and leaders in the space, and we support the rapid growth of this ecosystem with capital and expertise, focusing on early stage opportunities with great teams who have the vision and ability to change the world with the blockchain.
