Passport Protocol's logo

Passport Protocol is an open analytics framework that enables protocols on Terra to create new incentive models. Teams can create and share custom data primitives on Passport infrastructure, each tracking a specific on-chain action. Each data primitive is fully composable and can be reused to build more complex calculations. These calculations can then by inserted into smart contract logic to power incentive systems in real-time — including token distribution and liquidity rewards. The key question for every protocol is how to grow users and liquidity. Today, teams build their own token incentive mechanisms as an afterthought, typically overpaying for users in the near term and not leaving enough incentives in the long term. Most DeFi teams take a trial-and-error approach to liquidity rewards, manually changing emissions and seeing how liquidity providers react. Passport Protocol addresses this problem by creating a powerful yet extensible framework for analytics. This allows teams to quickly iterate on smart contract logic to create new incentive models. The initial release of Passport features a full set of composable data primitives as well as the LoyaltyScore, the first instance of a composable multiplier built on Passport infrastructure.
