RATS

RATS: Rapid Art Token Swap is a Decentralized CryptoArt Trading Portal based on the Ethereum Network. Users can swap NFTs in a decentralised cryptoartists’ collective or opt to “mine” $RATS tokens. The RATS tokens are mined through “Proof of ArtWork”. RATS tokens are created when an artists sends in a work of art to ensure that each token is backed 1:1 by NFTs. The tokens can be exchanged for NFTs from the constantly evolving collection of CryptoArt, creating a unique opportunity to build a decentralised art gallery. Tokens are burned upon redemption. Once 1,000 TOKENS are claimed a new user can only mint a new $RATS token when another $RATS token is burned and redeemed. The cryptoart in the NFT Swap serves as the medium of expression for the artists’ collective becoming a part of the artwork, while the smart contract functions as the cryptoart gallery where the participants are the curators. Participants work collaboratively together to develop an art-based economy. RATS is a free service with no added fees for cryptoartists and collectors.
