Amer Ameen is Technical Project Manager at ChainSafe. Building the infrastructure for Web 3.0 (blockchains & more). I'm passionate about blockchain & Web3.0 technologies because they have the potential bring much more fairness & freedom to society. Currently, I'm focused on research & development of Web3.0 infrastructure at ChainSafe Systems. Working on the bleeding edge has been a furious exercise in learning! Also, I'm always eager to connect with passionate individuals in Toronto and our global community. This journey has already led to so many meaningful relationships and adventures; so excited to see what the future holds! Outside of blockchain, I'm extremely passionate about meditation & consciousness (done two Vipassana, 10-day silent mediation, courses so far), travel (backpacked for 6 months in 2017), adventurous outdoor activities like snowboarding & hiking (climbed to the peak of Huayna Potosi at 6088m), and Burning Man (been three times and counting).
