Claire Belmont

Claire is a product lead at Celo, a Fintech startup focused on positively impacting the livelihood of billions of people around the world who today are involuntarily detached from the global financial system. At Celo, Claire is helping the company develop products for fast, stable and secure payments that enable financial inclusion. She’s a security engineer by training, was previously brand manager at Procter & Gamble, co-founder of a blockchain startup spun out of the MIT Medial Lab called Enigma, and prior to joining Celo, was a product manager at Google. Claire also publishes Crypto Insights a weekly blockchain newsletter, which started as an internal Google publication. Claire is a citizen of the world, she’s Franco-Peruvian, was born and brought up in Kenya, and has lived in Switzerland, Australia, Thailand, the US, and the UK.
