David Bailey

David Bailey has been invested in bitcoin since 2012; sits on the Board of Directors at Maven (owner of TheStreet and Sports Illustrated, among other media properties); is a general partner at Off The Chain; and an active venture investor in Kraken, BitPay, Coinbase and Protocol Labs (the creator of Filecoin), to name a few. David also founded one of the first hedge funds in the space, 402 Digital, in 2015. In 2013, he founded BTC Inc and guides its operations as CEO today. BTC Inc is the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine, the first and longest-running source of Bitcoin news in the space. David bought the publication from Mihai Alisie and Vitalik Buterin, whom you may know as the founder of Ethereum. Across all of its brands, BTC Inc has raised north of $40 million. The company also owns the largest Bitcoin conference in the space.
