Diana Biggs

Diana Biggs is Partner at 1kx. Formerly, CEO of Valour, a global executive working on broadening the adoption, accessibility and understanding of digital assets and decentralised finance. A recognized blockchain and fintech expert, Diana has been named one of Standout 35 of the Innovate Finance Women in FinTech Powerlist 2018, in the top 25 Fintech influencers in the UK by CityAM, on the Fintech Finance GOLD Power List, in the Blockchain News Top 100, amongst the The 100 Most Influential Blockchain People, in the Kurtosys Women in Finance Power 100 and on Innovate Finance’s Women in Fintech Powerlist 2016. She has led growth, partnerships and marketing across UK & EMEA for global fintech startups and has advised traditional financial services players on digital transformation. Diana is passionate about the use of technology to empower disenfranchised populations, promote access and transparency, and enable economic and financial inclusion. She is currently a mentor at start-up hub and coding academy Gaza Sky Geeks and impact tech accelerator Katapult Impact. As an Anthemis Group Fellow from 2016-2017, she explored the potential for blockchain technology to help solve humanitarian challenges through her venture, Proof of Purpose. Diana was previously Chief Strategy Officer of venture-backed social enterprise Soko, leading the company through strategic change and growth. Prior to this, she served as Kiva's first social impact focused Fellow, leading operational improvements and partnership development of microfinance institutions in Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone.
