Guillaume Palayer is Co-founder of BeToken Fund. Product, design, and coding. DeFi & foodtech explorer. Cofounding team nutrita.app & shiftly.finance. Interested in product, design and code stuff. I'm trying to build a more user-friendly decentralized Web. Currently, I'm working on betoken.fund, a crowd-powered assets management protocol connecting capital x talent on Ethereum. Lecturer in design and business schools. Passionate about product design. Also playing with f12.network, shiftly.finance, nutrita.app, and magazineduwebdesign.com. I spent over 8 years building, designing, and marketing web-based products and companies. I'm now running the design and research effort for diverse industries, executing multiple methodologies (Qualitative mostly) to address a range of questions around user & business needs (Sprint and workshop facilitation, think-aloud usability testing, cognitive walk-through, remote & field research, surveys, tree testing, card sorting, usability recruitment, low-high fidelity prototyping). Working routine: • Collaborate with stakeholders to first assess research needs, then design and implement appropriate research plans with a diverse set of methodologies. • Develop research materials and recruit research participants (interview protocols, usability test scripts, screeners, low or high fidelity interactive prototypes, etc.). • Run and moderate 1:1 user interviews, remote testing or in-context fieldwork. • Empower product teams by encouraging participation in observing research and synthesizing findings; research belongs to everyone. • Present research findings alongside actionable recommendations. • Facilitating group co-creation sessions and analogous activities during design sprints. • Work closely with leadership staff to develop standards for measuring user satisfaction, benchmarking key products, and evangelizing the value of user research across companies employing both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
