Jack Dorsey is the creator, co-founder, and Chairman of Twitter and co-founder & CEO of Square. Originally from St. Louis, Jack's early fascination for mass-transit and how cities function led him to Manhattan and programming real-time messaging systems for couriers, taxis, and emergency vehicles.

Throughout this work, Jack witnessed thousands of workers in the field constantly updating where they were and what they were doing; Twitter is a constrained simplification designed for general usage and extended by the millions of people who make it their own every day.Jack was recognized as one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people and was named an "outstanding innovator under the age of 35" by MIT's Technology Review.

Arthur Breitman is the creator of Tezos, a public blockchain enabling decentralized governance through self-amendments.

Previously, Arthur was a research engineer for Google X and Waymo. In his early career, he worked as a quantitative analyst for Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Arthur graduated from the École Polytechnique and the Courant Institute of NYU where he studied applied mathematics.

From 2014 to 2018, Matt was a partner at Sequoia Capital focusing on early stage venture investments in internet and mobile companies while also leading the firm’s efforts in cryptocurrency. Prior to Sequoia, Matt was the founding Chief Executive Officer of Hotspots, a YCombinator-backed company that was acquired by Twitter in 2012. Matt is also a personal seed investor in companies such as Toutiao and Instacart, and purchased his first Bitcoin from MtGox in 2012. Matt holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Gavin Wood is the founder of Parity Technologies, which develops cutting-edge blockchain applications. Most notably, Wood was one of the co-founders of Ethereum, having coded its first functional implementation. He is also the co-founder of Grid Singularity, which aims to develop a decentralized energy management platform.

Jae Kwon is a blockchain software architect and co-founder of Tendermint, and the president of the Interchain Foundation.

After graduating from Cornell in 2005 with a B.S. degree in computer science, he worked as a professional developer in Silicon Valley, including at Alexa, and at Yelp where he led the mobile application development team. He also cofounded iDoneThis, a productivity service.

Jae has worked on numerous open-source projects, including a CoffeeScript compiler/interpreter written in Javascript, an end-to-end encrypted email system called Scramble.io, and a cryptocurrency exchange. These projects were inspired by the cryptopunk hacker ethos, which ultimately led to the current work with Tendermint.

Jae has been working on a project he created in 2014, called Tendermint. He initially invented and refined (with Ethan Buchman and Zarko Milosevic) the Tendermint consensus algorithm and implementation with the aim of liberating the blockchain from the costs and drawbacks of proof-of-work mining. His mission is to make this technology more accessible, in order to accelerate the adoption of decentralized ledger technology.

Jae is also the President of the Interchain Foundation, based in Zug, Switzerland. The Interchain Foundation (aka ICF) was founded with the mission to promote the vision of Cosmos, the internet of blockchains, to enable public blockchain interoperability and scalability.
