Lucie Munier

Lucie Munier is Sharing Economy UK Manager, Co-Founder & Advisor at GovChain Research. Passionate about the impact that emerging technologies will play in our future and how companies, large and small, can leverage them to deliver new solutions to the world’s problems. Having worked with emerging technologies in unison with high growth companies across the globe I am expanding my knowledge on how companies can grow in unison with the growth of these technologies. Currently working with sharing economy companies in London. Previously worked with blockchain companies in London and assessing how companies scale in order to adapt to their environments. Having worked in the blockchain and fintech space since 2015 it has been fascinating to see the slow emergence of this transformative technology. I have loved informing the discussion around the technology, from early on tech evangelism, to hype dissipation, and regulation formation across the globe. I have been fortunate enough to share my views and learnings of the emerging tech space by keynoting at several roundtables, conferences, and events including The European Parliament, Chatham House, Fund Forum, Cleary Gottlieb, Hogan Lovels, London & Partners, and guest lecturing at The London Institute of Banking and Finance and EDHEC Business School. I also look forward to appearing on the main stage at the upcoming London Fintech Week 2019. Recently publishing an article in the peer reviewed professional Journal of Securities Operations & Custody allowed me to gain in depth knowledge of the interaction between the GDPR and blockchain.
