Mads Mathiesen is Research Analyst at Maven11 Capital focusing on Interchain, Rollups and Protocol Design. Responsible for formulating theses surrounding Modularity, Interchain and Scaling. Got into crypto and blockchain in 2013 when I ran across the bitcointalkforums while I was browsing Reddit back during my early school days. I immediately got hooked on Bitcoin and went to buy some on Localbitcoins, since it was the easiest way to buy as a youngling back in those days. In 2014 I got access to Kraken and have been hooked on researching and writing about crypto, blockchains and protocol design ever since. I especially have a nag and interest for modular architecture when it comes to building out infrastructure for blockchain, and for blockchains themselves. I am also a big proponent of splitting of parts of the blockchain stack, as it enables specialization in every layer of blockchains. With this comes the need for interoperability which I also research heavily, big fan of IBC.
