Robin Johannink

Robin Johannink is Director at Sylo. He is a serial entrepreneur with extensive start-up; investment and management experience in New Zealand, Asia and USA. He was Founder and Lead Investor of the NZ Advertiser; Club-Card (a private credit-card company acquired by the Bank of NZ), and numerous other business adventures, before forming Phoenix Management; a Venture Management Company in 1994. From 1994 to 2004 Phoenix Management raised over $100M for NZ start-ups which exited by either IPO or trade sale. Robin divested his venture management interests in 2004 and since has focused on decentralised technology initiatives. He is currently an Executive Director and the Lead Investor of DN 3010 Ltd, a software company which owns Sylo (sylo.io), that builds best-in-class decentralised communications products.
