Brooklyn Resident. Lucky husband. Native Texan. Owner of DittoPR. Fledgling soccer player. Crypto PR dude, bitcoin since 1876. Trey started his career in the newsroom of the Associated Press in Dallas, moving on to political communications and establishing himself as a trusted consultant in Texas to political leaders, legislators and statewide elected officials. After working in Texas on multiple campaigns and legislative sessions, Trey moved to Washington D.C. and became the Communications Director for a U.S. Congressman. During his stint in DC, he worked for a U.S. Congressman in Leadership, Cabinet Secretary and United Nations Ambassador – to name a few – on issues ranging from tort reform, student loans and national security to international matters in the Middle East. His first stint in DC culminated by becoming the deputy press secretary for U.S. Education Secretary Margaret Spellings, handling local and national media and external relations on K-12 and higher education issues. Moving to New York City in 2007, Trey worked with some of the most influential and respected leaders and companies in almost every industry, to include TIME 100, Nelson Mandela, Oliver Stone, Lionsgate Films, Roadside Attractions, Tribeca Film Festival, the documentaries I.O.U.S.A. and American Made Movie, the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, Bank of America, Deloitte, The Hartford, Microsoft, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, ServiceNation, to name a few. From providing strategic communications counsel to implementing communications campaigns, Trey created a following of clients who appreciated the fact that he understood their communications needs and delivered the results he promised – something other PR firms severely fail at. Trey regularly appears on national television talking about communications and messaging issues and currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife Natalia and their tiny, adorable dog, Loki.
